– Media is produced by a large number of people, It does not have a singular author. – Lots of voices, It is not always clear to know who is talking to you. Is it the advertising company, Is the product or the actor presenting the advert. Are the scriptwriters reaching out to you.
Many of the media content nowadays get made for money, Its a sad fact but its true. Although Id like to say that it is only made for the creative purpose, It all about making money. Very often many of the programs that you see on television are not made and produced by the same people who distribute it.
For example – WhiteChapel Drama on ITV is made for ITV but not by ITV. It is made by a production company called Carnival Productions but distribited Via ITV.
State Funding – Governement Pay for broadcasting – controled by the government in some countries.
