Pitch – Close your eyes, clear your mind, trust me he says to me. I can see the sun and I can smell the grass. I can feel him right there behind me. The door knocks and lisa opens her eyes but she is no longer in her bedroom, as the knock gets louder and louder she realises shes not alone anymore. Lisa has a choice to make, should she open the door or wait for it to get in. Either way there getting in.
Outline – Lisa was always day dreaming, her head is always wandering somewhere else and never really in the real world. When she closes her eyes she is transported anywhere she wants to go, its her only way to escape. When her dad dies, Lisa finds herself escaping from the pain and grief by going to her dream world more often then before. She cant cope with the loss of not having him there to help her get through the real world. As things start to get worse leading up to the funeral, Lisa shuts herself away from her family and friends and the “outside world” always telling them shes fine and just needs time. When Lisa is in her dream world, shes safe, nothing can hurt her in mind, its not real but when the real world and the dream world begin to become one. What is the truth and what is the lie?
