Jason’s Voice Messages Evaluation

After showing our audio drama to the group, this is the feedback we got :

Our Group – audio message.

Turning down the effect * – The phone effect that we had placed on the audio files was a little strong and comes across as a distored sound. – Before we hand it in as the best copy I think we need to experiment with the actors voices and get a range of different messages. Also experiment with more phone like effects to make the audio messages sound realistic and fit the narrative of Jason listerning to his voice messages.

Idea is good – doesn’t sound like messages. Again the sound effects let us down on the audio files we need more effects.

–          Mate message – be more friends – The jasons friend voice message didnt come across as he’s friend, the message needs to be more realistic

–          Girlfriend bit cliché – The girlfriend character comes across very whiney and unrealistic.

–          Need effects.

–          More time needed to get into characters.

After having feedback back, I feel I have learnt alot about what needs improving on this audio drama before it is completed as its best copy. From this I will arrange a group meeting and talk to the other members in the group as to what we are do now and how to improve the audio drama based on what we have now.
